Our annual Academic Conference aims to provide a platform for trade policy researchers, from a variety of different disciplines and areas of interest, to come together to present, discuss and learn about the latest thinking on trade and trade policy.

Call for Papers

Authors are invited to submit full papers, but extended abstracts will be considered. Please also include an abstract of the paper of around 100 words.

Papers should be submitted by email to: info@citp.ac.uk by 9:00am (GMT) on Monday 23 February.

Authors of accepted papers to be presented at the conference will be included in the conference programme as long as at least one author has registered by Friday 20 March 2026.

There is no attendance fee. Participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Please find below specially negotiated accommodation rates for attendees, as arranged by VisitBrighton, the official accommodation booking provider for the CITP Academic Conference.
