Our annual Academic Conference aims to provide a platform for trade policy researchers, from a variety of different disciplines and areas of interest, to come together to present, discuss and learn about the latest thinking on trade and trade policy.

The Programme will be confirmed shortly before the conference.

The conference will take place over 1 and 1/2 days, starting on the morning of Thursday 9 April and finishing after lunch on Friday 10 April.

Authors of accepted papers to be presented at the conference will be included in the conference programme as long as at least one author has registered by Friday 20 March 2026.

There is no attendance fee. Participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. We have specially negotiated accommodation rates for attendees, arranged by VisitBrighton, the official accommodation booking provider for the CITP Academic Conference.
