And in the face of the uncertainty, the possible bureaucracy and all this, they have just decided it’s not worth it. ‘We don’t need to worry about trying to export to the UK, it’s not so important to us, we can export elsewhere’. Whereas for many UK firms, that’s not the case – the EU was a very important destination, therefore, they needed to make sure they could continue to trade.“
