Bio
Viviane Gravey is a member of the Leadership Team at the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP) and a Senior Lecturer in European Politics at Queen’s University Belfast, and a founding co-chair of Brexit and Environment, the ESRC-funded academic network investigating the impacts of Brexit on UK and EU environmental policy and governance. Prior to her PhD (University of East Anglia, 2016) she worked in a leading Paris Think Tank, IDDRI, on agricultural policy change. She has published in leading academic journals on the changing directions of EU environmental policy, the impact of Brexit on the UK's public policies and the devolution dimensions of preparing for, and delivering Brexit. Since the 2016 referendum, she has given oral and written evidence to all parliaments across the UK (at devolved and UK level) on a wide range of issues from the UK Internal Market, to future environmental and agricultural policies, and the Ireland/Northern Ireland Protocol. She frequently works with NI, UK and EU environmental non-governmental organisations.
