Policy Officer at the Trades Union Congress (TUC)

Responsible for international trade and Brexit, Rosa is a member of a number of Department for International Trade advisory groups and represents the TUC on the European Trade Union Confederation international trade committee. She has given evidence to several parliamentary enquiries into trade.

She sits on the UK Domestic Advisory Group for the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the UK Domestic Advisory Group for non-EU trade deals. In January she held an event with current shadow trade secretary Nick Thomas Symonds on the TUC’s report ‘Protecting workers’ rights using the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement.’

In May 2021 she ran a roundtable event with Emily Thornberry, former shadow international trade secretary, on ‘Building a Workers’ Agenda for Trade’.
