Bio
Joris is a researcher at the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP) and a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. He obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, and received a PhD in Economics from KU Leuven in 2023. During his graduate studies, Joris was a visitor in the Department of Economics at Harvard University.
Joris is particularly interested in leveraging micro-economic datasets to improve our understanding of geographic market integration and to better understand the interplay of market integration with (international) macroeconomic policies.
