Bio
Han Chen is a doctoral researcher in Economics at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Her PhD project focuses on carbon leakage and international trade, with particular attention to the relationship between firm heterogeneity and environmental policy. She is especially interested in how firms adjust to climate-policy shocks, and how these adjustments shape emissions relocation, competitiveness and welfare outcomes across countries. Her broader research interests include environmental economics, international economics, quantitative trade modelling, and firm-level adjustment under climate policy. Han holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Glasgow.
