Bio
Alejandra is a researcher within the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP) and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Economics, University of Nottingham. She completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Warwick in 2024. Alejandra's main research is in international trade, specifically how unexpected disruptions or shocks influence the choices buyers and sellers make about their trading partners. Her recent work examines how supply chains adapt to extreme weather events when many key trade relationships are informal in nature.
