In response to this inquiry by the House of Commons Welsh Affairs Committee on "Farming in Wales in 2025: Challenges and Opportunities", this submission outlines the challenges and opportunities faced by the Welsh agricultural sector, focussing on economic, trade-based, and constitutional framework perspectives. And emphasises that these challenges and opportunities faced by the sector are exaggerated in the post-Brexit landscape. Our evidence was cited 12 times on pages 5, 19, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29 in the 2025 Report of the Welsh Affairs Committee.
