Professor Roscoe is Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Chain Management at the University of Sussex Business School, a researcher within the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP) and a fellow of the UK Trade Policy Observatory (UKTPO). His research interests are in how geopolitical disruptions (US-China trade war, Brexit, Covid 19) and innovative technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence) are transforming global supply chains. Sam has published 16 articles in leading innovation and strategy journals including the Journal of Operations Management (JOM), Production and Operations Management (POM) and Business Strategy and the Environment. Sam has given evidence to the UK Government’s International Trade Select Committee on Pharmaceutical Supply Chains and Covid 19. Sam has been the Principal Investigator on EPSRC grants totalling £100,000 and a co-investigator on ESRC grants totalling £20 million.
